The Foundations of the Network

In Everscale, validators operate nodes to confirm transactions and produce blocks, ensuring chain security and reliability, and get rewarded for their efforts in EVER.

Validation Essentials

Rounds

The process of validation is performed in odd and even rounds lasting for 18 hours.

Elections

To validate a subsequent round, a validator must provide at least a minimum stake to be selected in the elections. Stakes for odd and even rounds are provided separately.

Rewards

To receive rewards in a specific round, a validator must be elected and successfully validate the blocks.

Dynamic Stakes

Minimum and maximum stakes are recalculated each round automatically.

Delegation

Validators can increase their stakes by operating delegated tokens via depool contracts.

Assurance

Every validator must provide an assurance to a depool in order to receive delegated stakes.
