As part of our commitment to transparency, we are getting back with all the latest on what is going on behind the scenes of technical development in Everscale. To refresh your memory on the current status, check out our previous article about the Evernode updates.
In November 2024, the Everscale node client received several critical improvements, elevating the block version to 44 and 45.
In 44, developers fixed the problem with collecting metrics via statsd, which was introduced in the update to the block.
The version 45 introduced optimizations for the so-called garbage collector, facilitated the clearing of outdated Catchain sessions from the disk when starting a node, and refined work with memory allocation.
Now, we are all gearing up for the upcoming release of REMP. Stay tuned for more updates on that direction.
